Tamaki College sports

On Tuesday Tamaki College students came to Glenbrae School to teach us sports we got separated in groups. Next after that two Boys came they name was Ben and Max we were playing rugby with a Big Ball they they was red and yellow I was on the yellow.

Ben had the Ball and he told us to ran and gets the ball  so we ran and we were bumping each other the red team had  more points than us so kolo had the ball base it to me and I

base it’s too loto and he ran fast as he can and he got a try It's was so fun After that we played octopus loto was in and I was in they all ran and we have to tag them.

there was four people gots out ben and max was in he said let move on he said this was our last one. The last game leapfrog we have to lay down and one person have to jump over the person and they have to jump I was so Hot so i had a rest it was time to go so we pack our stuff and we went sit down After that the bell rang so we went to class and have our morning tea.I was a very FUN day

room 7 had Whittaker's we sat down in a circle After that Mrs Parker came with two Whittaker's she open it and there was lots.

Of them After that we all get one and Mrs Parker said do not eat it she told us hold it's she told us to smell it first and she told have a tiny bites when I taste it was  yum inside there were berry and nuts the berry was so very yummy and the nuts Mrs Card had one and Mrs parker.

After that we ate it all finished it was so very yummy

Our Cross Country Fitness

Today Mrs Parker told us that we had to do Cross Country practice. First it was the girls turn to jog around the field. After them It was the boys turn. We had to line up and of we went. I ran fast to my friend Charlie. We were running very slowly . Charlie and I felt very cold and tired. It was very muddy and my legs were very sore. When I ran over the mud my legs got stuck. We finished our first lap and we went again. During the second lap, I became very tired so I walked the rest of the way. When we finished our cross country practice, I walked back to class with Charlie and I was very tired and bored.

It is important to brush your teeth everyday because.
today room 7 went to brush there teeth outside we got some water and cream and we sat down and brush our teeth.
To brush your teeth properly. you have to go up down and side everyday when you wake up always brush teeth. we have to brush our teeth for least 2 mins.

A 3 Dimentional Shape I created

I enjoyed learning  about 3D  shapes and crating one.

Mrs Raj taught us how to measure and make a net to create a 3 dimensional shape and I made a cuboid.
And my cuboid has 6 faces, and it has 12 edges and 8 vertices.

room 7 went to the hall to learn about looking after our teeth when got there was a camera guy and a lady called Cynthia we were all sitting down and wait for room 10 room 9 and finally room 8 when they came they sat down when they sat down Cynthia was talking about looking after our teeth she said we all have to eat healthy food.

Henry The Explore

             At the end Henry didn't make it home because he didn’t find the trail

     back home he needed to find a safe place to stay for the night. Mum will be very worried. Suddenly Angus started to sniff the ground “what are you sniffing on the ground Angus,” he kept on sniffing the ground and walking away. “Where are you going Angus wait for me,” said Henry. Henry was tired and hungry but he kept following Angus who was still walking and sniffing the ground “I think we are lost Angus,” he started barking excitedly. Henry looked ahead and saw a police car with its lights on and he ran towards the light and Angus was still barking and running. The police man shone  his torch at Angus and Henry “can you take me home I’ve been lost for days and my dog save us.” “Your mum will be glad to see you,” said the policeman.

Water Fun Day

This morning we had a Water Fun Day at 9.15. It was at Glenbrae.

Our parents were here at Glenbrae School. The kids were getting  into colour lines and all the teachers were there. Why? Because it was a summer day.

We were up the senior block waiting for Miss Tofa and Miss Elia. Then after that Miss Tofa called our house to move.

Room 7 was the first one to pick, we went to the water slide with Miss Parker and Miss Kelly. Then Miss Parker told me to turn the viper on. Everyone was ready to start the game then.

Miss Tofa rang the bell and everybody was running and sliding. There were 4 bins to full up it was Nikau Rata Kowhai and Kauri.

People ran down the hill and drop the water into the bin and ran back to our group.
